Bayt Al Qaim Islamic Centre (BAQIC) really wanted to make a difference to local homeless people and thus embarked on a donation program for these much loved individuals who unfortunately are homeless.
Inspired by the sayings of Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) son in law Imam Ali (AS); "The Holy Prophet (S) narrated from Allah, the Exalted, on the night of ascent, Who said: 'O' Ahmad, My love is the loving of the poor. Bring the poor nearer to yourself and situate them close to yourself in order that I approach you."
BAQIC donated this Ramadan to the local homeless people through Simon on the Streets.
The contribution made a real difference to our brothers and sisters in humanity and faith who are suffering and leading solitary and harmful lives.
Sometimes love, compassion and just some kind words make all the difference and BAQIC embodies such characteristics through the teachings of Islam and the Holy Prophet and his progeny.
BAQIC’s belief is accompanied by tenderness, deep love and compassion, thus not losing its proper function. It is love—in practice and in action— that makes faith effective.
