Bayt Al Qaim Islamic Centre (BAQIC - Bradford) stands in solidarity with the honourable Shaykh Zakzaky | FreeZakZaky

BAQIC demands the immediate release of Shaykh Ibraheem Zakzaky and to allow him urgent access to lifesaving medical treatment.

On 14th December 2015, Sheikh Zakzaky’s house was demolished and Sheikh was injured and along with his wife arrested by the Nigerian Military.

Over 300 people were innocently killed. Three of sheikh’s sons were brutally murdered. To date Sheikh has not been formally charged or indeed had any trial.

The approach taken by the Nigerian military has been condemned by rights groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.

The Nigerian High court has ordered Sheikh Zakzaky should be released, however the Nigerian authorities are not fulfilling this order. Instead the authorities have resorted to denying Sheikh Zakzaky any medical treatment and poisoned him with his blood showing high levels of Lead and cadmium in his blood.

These barbaric, inhumane and cruel actions taken by the Nigerian Authorities are blemishing the name of Nigeria and severely violates Human rights.

BAQIC strongly opposes such inhumane treatment, injustice, oppression and tyranny and urges the Nigerian authority to release Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky so he and his wife can receive the necessary treatment, which they have so long been denied.

”Our weapon is positive reasoning, truth and good conduct. Guns are for the reckless and foolhardy.”  Shaykh Ibrahim Zakzaky
